His focus is on minimizing risks in processes and design from the very beginning while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n<p>As a consultant, he knows that a systematic approach combined with qtec\u2019s proven methodology enables organizations to manage the complexity of products and systems effectively\u2014both for new developments and existing products. Through his active participation in professional organizations such as the VDI Technical Committee &#8220;Software in Medical Technology&#8221; and INCOSE(1) \/ GfSE(2), he continuously stays up to date with the latest technological developments and applicable regulatory processes.<\/p>\n<p>At qtec, he is responsible for Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). In this field, he regularly presents specialist topics from the medical technology domain as a speaker at conferences such as MedConf and TdSE(3). As a trainer at the qtec Academy, Torsten Hertz teaches a wide range of subjects, including systems analysis and modeling, simulation, requirements engineering, product and software lifecycles, agile development, and many others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is particularly important to him as a trainer:<\/strong><br \/>\n<i>&#8220;I want to take participants on a thematic journey through interdisciplinary fields of knowledge\u2014combining fundamentals, expert insights, and practical applications in a well-balanced way.
